Nettie’s Spicy Chik Lands First Brick-and-Mortar on Dickerson Pike
We love seeing local concepts take flight—and this one’s got some serious heat behind it.
Our client Nettie’s Spicy Chik, one of Nashville’s most beloved food trucks, is making the leap to its first permanent location at 811 Dickerson Pike. The 975-square-foot space will open this fall and marks a major milestone for founder Jessica Simpson, who built a loyal following through bold flavors, authentic Southern hospitality, and a brand that resonates with the city’s growing appetite for neighborhood-rooted food experiences.
As reported in the Nashville Post, the Dickerson Pike storefront will offer counter-service with a small dine-in area, giving regulars a more consistent place to get their spicy fix. The decision to move indoors was driven by demand and accessibility—and it’s clear that Nettie’s has tapped into something special with its motto: “It’s not just hot, it’s spicy.”
The move also signals momentum for the Dickerson corridor, which continues to attract exciting culinary and retail concepts while maintaining its cultural soul. With plans to grow to several locations over the next few years, Nettie’s is just getting started—and we’re thrilled to see it take root right here in East Nashville.
Congratulations, Jessica!
